About Me

Hello, I’m Carol.

Welcome to Blue Skies Hypnotherapy.

Blue Skies is the natural culmination of a my of experience in education, creativity, exercise and connection — and a deep belief in each person’s ability to change from within.

I’m a fully qualified hypnotherapist and member of   ……… Association. My background includes many years as a primary school teacher, before specialising in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges in a school setting. I’ve also worked in child bereavement support — experiences that have shaped the way I work, with empathy and dedication to support effective change.

Alongside hypnotherapy, I hold professional training in counselling, mindfulness, and Pilates instruction. I’ve previously combined these skills to deliver relaxation and self-regulation workshops — blending movement, breath, creativity and stillness in accessible, empowering ways. These experiences taught me the value of active listening, kindness, and seeing the whole person — not just the presenting issue.

I’m also an artist, with a passion for birds, flowers and bright abstract and fabric art. I find that creative expression, like therapy, invites us into awareness and acceptance — often the first steps towards lasting change. My love for storytelling has also led me to write for children, and I’ve had one book published, with more to come exploring the emotional worlds of young minds.

Whether I’m working one-to-one with a client in my peaceful garden room, running a workshop in a school, or care setting or creating a group hypnobirthing programme, my aim is always the same: to offer a comfortable space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move positively forward. Whatever brings you here, I’ll meet you with warmth, attentiveness and support, guiding you towards taking significant steps towards improved well-being.
